Jackie, a British Friendly member since December 2017, won herself £1000 worth of Thomas Cook Vouchers in our quarterly Mutual Benefits prize draw!

All members signed up to Mutual Benefits automatically get a ticket to our prize draw, and Jackie is delighted that hers was the winning ticket! Here’s what Jackie had to say about herself, her prize and being a British Friendly member:

“I’ve been working as a freelance Electronic Notetaker for the past 9 years. Prior to working for myself I had always been employed and hadn’t given too much thought to the consequences of being off work sick - this had always been covered by my employers. However, the possibility of having no income coming in started to prey on my mind. I began researching my options and soon narrowed it down to a handful of providers. After some careful consideration I opted to go with British Friendly - their track record for uncomplicated payouts was impressive and the application process itself was very straightforward. I took out the sickness benefit cover in order to protect my salary in the event of illness. The policy included a number of additional mutual benefits such as a Will writing service, Power of Attorney, physiotherapy and counselling sessions and the back to work cover scheme.
