What is Mutual Benefits?

Everyday health, wellbeing and rewards for you and your family at no extra cost

Mutual Benefits is a discretionary programme available to our members at no extra cost. Through Mutual Benefits we provide access to support and rewards for you and your family every day whether you claim or not.

What benefits are included?
  • Clinic in a Pocket: Fast access to healthcare services for you and your family
  • Cash in your Pocket: A chance to win £100 cash every month

These benefits are allocated on an annual basis and are discretionary benefits which means they can be withdrawn at any time. To access these benefits, British Friendly members must be age 18 or older and UK residents. What is Clinic in a Pocket?

The Clinic in a Pocket app, powered by Square Health, is one of our Mutual Benefits available to our members at no extra cost. Clinic in a Pocket gives you and your family fast access to GPs, clinicians, physiotherapists, counsellors, specialist consultants and an annual health check. Healthcare services include:

  • Digital GP Consultations: Unlimited sessions
  • Physiotherapy: 6 sessions per policy year
  • Mental Health Support: 6 sessions per policy year
  • Second Medical Opinions: 2 sessions per policy year
  • Health Check: 1 per policy year (only available to member)

What is Cash in your Pocket?

Every month we’ll randomly draw 5 lucky winners for our Cash in your Pocket prize draw. Each winner will win £100. As long as they are up-to date on their premium payments, they’re in the draw. And there’s no limit to the number of times they can win.

  • Where do I find the Clinic in a Pocket activation PIN code?
    You can find the activation PIN code in the Activation Invite e-mail or the Activation Guide sent to you by British Friendly. If you can’t find this e-mail you can request the code from us by contacting our Mutual Benefits Team on mutualbenefits@britishfriendly.com or 01234 358 344 Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
  • I’m having trouble accessing the Clinic in a Pocket app . Who can I speak to for help?
    If you have any issues downloading the app or accessing the services, please contact British Friendly’s Mutual Benefits Team on mutualbenefits@britishfriendly.com or call us on 01234 358 344 Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm. If you’re able to access the app, but having technical issues accessing a particular service, you can access in-app details for technical support.   • Does it cost me anything to access my Mutual Benefits?
    No, Mutual Benefits is available to both new and existing members at no extra cost. Additional costs may apply for certain services within Clinic in a Pocket – please read ‘Your guide to Clinic in a Pocket’ for more details.
  • Can I opt-out of Mutual Benefits?
    Yes, if you wish to opt-out of the Cash in your Pocket draws please contact our Mutual Benefits Team on mutualbenefits@britishfriendly.com or 01234 358 344 Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. If you wish to opt-out of Clinic in a Pocket, simply delete your account and app if you’ve already activated this service. You can also unsubscribe from receiving e-mail or SMS communications about Mutual Benefits at any time or simply contact us on mutualbenefits@britishfriendly.com or 01234 358 344 Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm to opt-out of postal communications.
  • Am I eligible for Mutual Benefits?
